    Both Sinclair Hyundai and Hyundai customer care informed me all I could do is take the care elsewhere for a second opinion as the original determination was apparently final.

    I was impressed with your honesty, integrity, and straightforward approach to selling a car. As you remember, I almost bought the Hyundai Tucson at a different dealership,  changing my mind after being mislead on numerous occasion. As I looked around, I found that many of the sellers just didn’t meet my personal standard of integrity, not to mention their lack of professionalism.

    Having exclusively owned Hyundai cars over the past 20 years, we walked into the Sinclair Hyundai dealership earlier today to discuss the purchase of an Elantra with them. The salesperson Jenny Pearson was very helpful and explained the differences between the cars and she provided us with a rundown of the features and costs of the cars. She then forwarded us to the finance person at the dealership.

    I HAVE BOUGHT MY CAR 3 YEARS AGO AND HAVE DONE ALL THE CAR SERVICE WITH HYUNDAI ST CLAIR, RECENTLY WE HAD A NOISE COMING OUT OF THE BACK WHEEL UPON CHECKING THEY ADVISED THAT WE HAVE CHANGED THE BRAKE PADS, BUT THE QUESTION IS THAT WE HAVE NEVER CHANGED THE BRAKE PADS ALL THE CAR SERVICING HAS BEEN DONE BY THEM AND NOW THEY ARE BLAMING US THAT WE HAVE CHANGED THE BRAKE PADS, HOW CAN THAT BE POSSIBLE I HAVE NEVER CHANGED THE BRAKE PADS THERE SERVICE TEAM ARE SUCH A LAIRS , AND THEY HAVE ALSO SCRATCHED THE BACK DOOR ALSO WHEN ASKED THEM THEY SAID THE SCRATCH WAS THERE BEFORE. AND ON TOP OF THAT THEY CHARGED US.

    I then took the car to Windsor Hyundai. A service person fixed the problem in literally 10 seconds in front of me. I cannot understand why Sinclair Hyundai service department could not have done this themselves.

    Being dissatisfied with the service department's ability to reason, I contacted Hyundai "Customer Care" 3 times over 3 weeks and was repeatedly told they would follow the matter up. Not once was I called back. On my third call I was advised it was not a warranty claim because of the observation made by the "technician" at Sinclair.

    Would have to be the worst dealership I have dealt with in Sydney. They did everything they could to get a deposit and then when the deal fell through try getting your deposit back. They said they would put it into our account on the Monday and then nothing happened till Wednesday and still don't know if it's in the account. That's when the attitude of the finance girl went from friendly and flirty to COW and the only answer we could get from her and the general manager was we've put it in the bank what do you want us to do. Great customer service. We actually got a far better deal at Windsor Hyundai and the staff were actually professional

    He was extremely condescending and entirely unhelpful in answering any of our questions. The basic question we wanted the answer to was "what would the interest rate percentage be".. He goes "anywhere from 5% to 15%, what else do you want to know?". So, we asked "Can you give us a more exact number, so that we can compare and make a choice?", to which he says "If I run the numbers for you spending half an hour with you, and if you decide to go elsewhere, I would have wasted half an hour of my time. So, book the car and then come to me if you want me to finance you".

    After inspection, I was informed by Sinclair Hyundai that the problem was deemed not to be a warranty matter because of an observable component being displaced. When I returned home, I looked closely at the component and saw it was not displaced. I contacted the service department to report the new information and was told repeatedly it was not a warranty matter because of the original observation made by their technician (despite that report being incorrect about the status of the component).

    All the while, I kept thinking about the car you were selling and the sense of trust I had from talking with you.  I came back to look at the car one more time and we made the deal.
