  Was really looking forward to a relaxing pampering experience but I have to say the whole experience was a huge letdown. I have never been to Esteem but from my experience don’t believe they are strong in the day spa area, maybe with hair but definitely not day spa. Products used for the facial smelt and felt lovely and the lady was nice but my back massage was less than ordinary, just lots of pushing but no massaging, head massage which is usually a favourite felt like my 6 year old son did it while being preoccupied with something else. The hand massage felt great for literally the 5 seconds it lasted (less arm and more hands would have been nice). The music was so loud I couldn’t even start to think to relax, I did ask for it to be turned down but then noticed why it was so loud, to drown out the loud laughter and talking which I heard the rest of the way through my session. I questioned about a eyebrow tint which was meant to be included, but I was told it wasn’t, I then had to ask for a brochure while getting my pedicure to show it was, even then the therapist had to ask someone else. Pedicure felt less then luxurious out the front sitting next to someone waiting for a treatment, sitting on really uncomfortable chairs. No one’s fault but to top it off, while trying to make myself comfy which was near impossible, my phone slid through the chair right into a lovely bucket of old smelling feet water from a previous pedicure, maybe these should be cleaned up once the client leaves instead of sitting under the chairs. Areas on my feet were missed, I had to pluck the remaining hairs from my eyebrow wax when I got home, you had to know what colour you wanted for your polish as they don’t have sample charts or colours on display. Less than impressed for $220! Have been to cheaper beauty spas which feel more luxurious.

  I am unable to leave a review on my 'new hair style' as my appointment is not until next week. However, the level of customer service I have already experienced with the salon staff has been positive, I felt the need to express my gratitude. So impressed that I have made an additional appointment for a friend visiting from overseas. So looking forward to meeting & interacting with your team next week. Julie Powers

  Thank you Monique for doing a brilliant job on my hair today! I would have never imagined that I can achieve such a beautiful honey colour - coming from shades of red, black and brown. I travelled for one hour and a half to get to your salon and it was worth every minute. I took a risk, because I have found it hard in the past to get the results I wanted. I was under the impression that some hairdresser just don't listen. I loved the way you were given a hand with the full head o foils to achieve an even result efficiently.

  I organised a last minute appt with the team at Hair Esteem and they were very helpful, courteous and made me feel welcomed despite my frustrations from another salon, came to Hair Esteem to be fixed!!! They did a great job, and returned my disaster to awesome within hours. Highly recommend the team at Hair Esteem to anyone.
