  Went to have a new wedding bang made using gold from my old ring. I selected a ring to be made the 'consultant' came back with a $100.00 value of the gold in my ring. That's one hundred dollars off an $1175.00 ring, the ring was a stock item that they had already made.

  The jeweller here is lovely, he has always treated my family heirlooms with much respect. been a returning customer, for repairs, remodels, new designs and off the shelf purchases.

  Considering that jewellery has at least a 300-400% mark up, I thought this was pretty poor, no discount offered for a returning customer to where our rings were originally purchased. This ring was at full retail, given just a lot of BS. I went on line and found an identical ring for $722.00.
